The treasure map is about finding value. Businesses support not-for-profit groups, community organizations need businesses to thrive, commercial enterprises rely on public groups for all number of functions, and every once in a while there are municipal bodies that try to get it right. And, people need for all of those to be working smoothly. This project is about dovetailing any number of combinations of those and more. If you want to participate, see the buttons at the bottom of the page. God bless.

THIS IS FREE:

-- The list does not consists of clue locations. Only those locations specifically noted on Treasure Hunt lists at the top are clue locations.

-- Being listed allows someone to easily find your location during all hunts. In other words, it allows people to see where else they might want to stop in addition to the Treasure Hunt route.

--You can still be on the list even if you do not want to be a clue location we still welcome participation and suggestions. The basic idea is to have community support for both businesses and organizations.

--Being a clue location is easy. All that is involved is placing a card holder on display. There are usually only 8 cards per location for a 3-day period. When a location runs out, the treasure seeker can send in a digital picture to show that they were there.

-- You do not have to be a food donation location.

-- If you would like to be a food donation location and already work with a food bank, we welcome that. If you do not work with a food bank we will have someone pick up donations at the end of the treasure hunt.

-- Clue locations do not have to have anything to give to visitors. If you have something small - keychains, pens, mouse pads, coloring books, anything promotional - that works well. However, people will still qualify for a 'treasure' simply by picking up a card and registering the number (click 'prizes' for details).

-- Use the form below to be added to the list. It doesn't obligate you to do anything more than be on the list. We will e-mail when you are added and talk about upcoming events.

-- If you have a route you want to use, tell us. Or if you want to customize any aspect of the page we will be glad to accommodate you. There are thousands of possibilities, please feel free to ask about yours.

To receive keys toward opening the treasure chest:
Only locations marked 'donation' will have clue cards.

For other locations take a digital photo and follow directions below.

Each location marked 'donation' will start with eight clue cards.

If all clue cards are gone or the location is closed take a picture of the location with that day's newspaper in the photo.

Bring the card or photo home, come back to this page, and use the 'claims link' that are below these instructions.
